The Spanish Friar Armchair — also known as the Frailera or Monk Chair — is an elaborately hand carved solid wood armchair with leather upholstery, rooted in Spanish Renaissance, Gothic, and Medieval furniture traditions. Upgraded with additional carving along the back and a double leather panel. Also available as a side chair. Part of Olinda Romani’s Italian Western Leather Furniture collection, handcrafted in Peru by skilled artisans.

Featured in productions of I Due Foscari at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and on the altar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Daly City.
